January 31, 2017

Call to Order:  2:09pm

         I.            Christian motioned to approve the minutes of the last time, Heather seconds.

Ø  Facebook message from Beta Theta – inter-chapter newsletter

III.                 Service VP: Heather

Ø  Humane Society

·   First Saturday of month is Humane Heroes

·   Grant County – fundraising – toy making

·   PetSmart adoption 2/18-19 (Sat./Sun.) (see email for details)

Ø  Career fair – February 7-9 (details in an email)

Ø  Blood drive – February 14-16

Ø  Dance Marathon – Sat. Feb 4^th 4-pm-12am Velzy Commons

Ø  Service Hours:

·   National convention: 10hrs (?)

·   Involvement fair: 3.5 hrs.

Ø  Need to start thinking of ideas for next semester’s rush week

·   Hot chocolate hand out -  Monday Feb 6 1:00-2:00 outside (Kalina Christian)

·   Coloring for the Honor Flight cards – Wed Feb 8 6pm alumni lounge (Heather Kalina)

·   Game night – Thursday Feb 9 6:30 alumni lounge (Christian Kalina)

·   Cookie decorating – 2 Tuesday Feb 7 pioneer room (all)

·   Dollar movie night – Tuesday meet south doors MPSC (Christian Kalina)

·   Drinks? Water, coffee, punch (polyjucie potion)

·   Theme:  Harry Potter – Lori has a snitch

·   Gift? Do we have APO mugs? – harry potter themed mugs online – look into personalized wand pens
