VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: MLK Memorial Rededication

Good Morning Brothers:

 

As you know the MLK Memorial Dedication has been rescheduled for October 16th. The event team that is executing the dedication is in need of volunteers at the memorial site. We are hoping that you are interested, willing and able to volunteer.

 

If so please RSVP by Saturday, October 1st, 12:00pm to sgoo...@aol.com. 

 

In your RSVP please include your name, email, cell,

which event you can support and your preferred duty.

  

On Monday, October 3rd, all confirmed volunteers will receive an email with further information and instructions.

 

Volunteer Opportunity:

Dedication

Sunday, October 16

9:00am-12:30pm

MLK Memorial site (OUTSIDE; requires periods of standing and walking)

Attire: Casual (jeans, sneakers)

Volunteer schedule - 7:00am-1:00pm

 

Volunteer Duties:

1. General Support/Directional/Greeters
2. Ushers
3. Flaggers

Mandatory Volunteer Orientation will be held on two (2) days ONLY at the Washington Hilton Hotel. ALL volunteers must attend one of the two trainings.

1) Wednesday, October 12 - 6:30pm-8:00pm

2) Thursday, October 13 - 6:30pm-8:00pm

At the Orientation, you will be given your volunteer badge, polo shirt, cap and other materials needed to support the Dedication.
