Section 85/86 Potluck BBQ/Cookout in Patapsco State Park - July 1st, 2012, 3PM to Sundown

Please bring your favorite BBQ side dish for us, and a can of food to donate to the MD Food Bank!

Hey brothers, Congrats to all the graduating seniors reading this, and to everyone else, I hope you all are enjoying the beginning of your breaks, or surviving your last exams in the coming days/weeks! Like last year, but even better, we will be having another (perhaps some would even call it annual =] ) APO Section 85/86 bbq/cookout/potluck/awesomeness on SUNDAY JULY 1st. Mark your calendars, because its going to be a great time :) 

I'll bring burgers, hotdogs, and burger/hotdog buns/grilling necessities... you guys bring condiments,veggie burgers, sodas, and sides. Let me know what you're bringing. Significant others and/or a friend or two outside APO are more than welcome! Please be sure to let me know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions!

Service Project: Please if you are able to bring CANNED FOOD to donate to the Maryland Food Bank!!!

ALSO: We are considering offering Launch in the park from 12-3 if there is enough interest. Please contact me ASAP and let me know if you would be interested in taking Launch in the Park!

• Where: Patapsco State Park, Glen Artney Area (off route 1 in the Elkridge area) (5120 South St, Baltimore, MD 21227 )
• Why: WHY NOT?!?!
• RSVP: Not required, but out of courtesy in order to ensure enough food, please try to e-mail me back if you plan on attending and join the facebook event for up to date info/updates @ http://www.facebook.com/events/350021908390931/

We have Shelter #66 in Patapsco State Park, in the Glen Artney Area. Park admission in the summer is $2/person

Zoom out a bit to see where it is in relation to the Route 1 Entrance. Please pay close attention to which area you will be going to, as Patapsco State part sprawls accross Baltimore County and not all areas of the park are physically connected. 

Directions to Glen Artney @ Patapsco State Park

• From the Beltway (I-695) take Rt. 1 ( Exit 12-A) toward Elkridge. Follow Rt. 1 South about 3 miles to South St. Turn right. Park entrance is on the left.
• From I-95 take I-195 to Rt. 1 (Exit 3) toward Elkridge to South St. Turn right. Park entrance is on the left.
• From Howard County follow Rt. 1 through Elkridge and into Baltimore County. Turn left on South St. Park entrance is on the left.

You'll know which shelter it is because its HUGE and made out of stone, and I'll be there, of course, in letters :)
