Hi, i was asked by my boss to help with converting a uneditable (scanned) pdf file into excel format, which is a pain in the ass since most converters are terrible. Anyone know of a quick way to do this? I dont wanna spend my weekend doing this shit. I referred to a previous post which wasnt able to detect any tables, nor the "get data" function from excel which was useless.
Able2Extract Professional is the only PDF converter that offers Custom PDF to Excel conversion. This distinctive feature allows you to save hours spent on re-formatting converted spreadsheet data.
It offers features such as extracting only tables (without the surrounding content) in just a few clicks, templates for similarly formatted files, batch converter for converting multiple files in one go, manually setting columns, rows, headers and footers, choosing between Microsoft Office and open source spreadsheet file formats, and gives a preview of the Excel file before the conversion takes place.
My problem is, that I have my data in an excel file. My perhaps (silly) simple question is, how can I read an xls-file (xls-reader node) and convert it to a table format, which can be read then from the Network learner.
I have an existing "initiative" (i.e. initiative-123). I need to convert an excel sheet (over 500 rows) into this initiative (not sure if I want child issues or subtasks), I am no jira expert.
how do I convert all these excel records and upload them under my initative-123? I came across this link Import data from a CSV file Atlassian Support but does it apply to uploading to an initiative or does it not matter?
Import all the issues (I'm pretty sure they need to be Epics, but not sure since I don't know how you have your Issue hierarchy set up). When you are preparing your csv (excel) file, make sure you add a label so that you can quickly look up your 500 issues after you import them. Once they are all imported, search for your label and it should return your 500 issues. From there, go to bulk edit and edit the issues. You are going to want to add a parent link to the issues which will be the key for your initiative.

We are migrating our journal from OJS 3.0.0.2 to .3.0.3 and since it is quite a step I believe that the best way to transfer articles is to use import from excel with tools that @ajnyga and @Klapperhorn have developed.
I am interested to know if excel to XML conversion script and/or Online converter for OJS issues are working with OJS 3.3.0.3.?
We made it possible to report conversion errors and ask questions directly from the Errors tab in the task pane. We added more free example spreadsheets to make it easier for you to test the converter directly.

Hello,
Im trying to insert data from MSSQL with SSIS into Excel. In MSSQL date is DATETIME or DATETIME2, everything looks good until insert into excel when excel formats it by itself to DATE without TIME in the rows and date with time is shown only in formula box. How to set Excel so it will show exactly as im importing from database with DATETIME in rows and it is DATE type in excel also with time in rows?
Thanks for your help.

Standards support synthetic biology research by enabling the exchange of component information. However, using formal representations, such as the Synthetic Biology Open Language (SBOL), typically requires either a thorough understanding of these standards or a suite of tools developed in concurrence with the ontologies. Since these tools may be a barrier for use by many practitioners, the Excel-SBOL Converter was developed to facilitate the use of SBOL and integration into existing workflows. The converter consists of two Python libraries: one that converts Excel templates to SBOL and another that converts SBOL to an Excel workbook. Both libraries can be used either directly or via a SynBioHub plugin.
Introduced with v0.7.0, converters define how Excel ranges and their values are converted both duringreading and writing operations. They also provide a consistent experience across xlwings.Range objects andUser Defined Functions (UDFs).
Keyword arguments (kwargs) may refer to the specific converter or the default converter. For example, to set the numbers option in the default converter and the index option in the DataFrame converter, you would write:
xlwings offers several built-in converters that perform type conversion to dictionaries, NumPy arrays,Pandas Series and DataFrames. These build on top of the default converter, so in most cases the optionsdescribed above can be used in this context, too (unless they are meaningless, for example the ndim in the caseof a dictionary).
The first 3 options behave the same as when using np.array() directly. Also, ndim works the same as shown abovefor lists (under default converter) and hence returns either numpy scalars, 1d arrays or 2d arrays.
