Dear all,

I am looking out how to obtain the stationary equation(DH/du) results from APM-matlab optimal control.

To obtain the co-state (Langrage multiplier), we have used :

apm_get(s,a,'apm_lam.txt')

However, the results seems in a single line, hence not able to distinguish which co-state its referring to. Above all,  the results for co-state does not make sense when compared with co-state obtained from AMPL solver or pure Matlab solver despite the state variable are all accurate. Is there a way here?

Regards,
Jeevan

Jeevan,

The difference is likely because of the problem formulation with orthogonal collocation on finite elements. There is additional information on how the problem is translated from Differential Algebraic Equations to a Algebraic Equations here: https://apmonitor.com/do/index.php/Main/OrthogonalCollocation  Please consider posting a simplified version of the problem with source code examples to Stack Overflow: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/gekko

Best regards,
