Hello Sir

I try to resolve a parameter identication problem online .I try too solve this problem with Simulink and in reality i want to use the Least Squares method with Matlab Codes.

You will find a simple discription of my case study.

How can i resolve the problem?

I have two variable matrix A(t) and B(t) are 4x4 and 4x1 matrices , respectively described by:

I want to solve this sytem for obtaining the parameter vector:

In reality i work with simulink for solving this sytem and i use LU block :

But i want to work with the Least Squares method and  with MATLAB code (not with simulink) .I found the equation but i can't solve this with matlab code

Best regards

Maroua.

Maroua,

Here are a couple examples of solving linear and nonlinear equations in MATLAB: http://apmonitor.com/che263/index.php/Main/MatlabSolveEquations and performing parameter estimation: http://apmonitor.com/che263/index.php/Main/MatlabDataRegression. The nonlinear parameter estimation example uses the APM MATLAB toolbox at http://apmonitor.com/wiki/index.php/Main/MATLAB.

I’d recommend that you take a first try at implementing your problem, using the tutorial videos.

Best regards,
