Hi Folks,

This my 3rd attempt to create a proof of concept that
a better social media can be built with the main focus
being put on THE USER ; his attention and interests.

The first two were: Feedego(1) and NoiseRiver(2).

The present one is called SocialWhois and it combines
some microformats, attention profiling (apml) and
other cool voodoo to provide a tool for a better social media
based on "personal relevancy" and interests rather than
what's used now elsewhere (i.e. "popularity")

Please feel free to give it a try here:

More information can be found here:
http://www.socialwhois.com/about
and
http://www.socialwhois.com/faq

Export of APML profiles is offered and
its generation is based on personal interests
as "explicit concepts" and friend's interests as
"implicit concepts" — because on socialwhois
friends are those who you "fave" upon their interests

Looking forward your opinion, and thanks
for your attention :)
