Hi Folks,

I'm very happy -though a little bit hesitant- :) to announce
the birth of NoiseRiver http://noiseriver.com

NoiseRiver is a web client for FriendFeed, that aims to
extend it with notions like "Interests" and "Neighborhood".
The flow that is in FriendFeed is still present in NoiseRiver,
but it's colored and highlighted by the "interests and neighborhood"
preferences of the user.

NoiseRiver supports the import and export of APML profiles,
and the extraction of Attention profile information
from del.icio.us too!

I hope you'll enjoy it, and I'd be pleased to recieve
your feedback :)

Heya Karim,

I logged on, got my feed and uploaded my APML all fine - but now I can't get back to the feed to see the highlighted results for some reason.

Any ideas?

Are you having troubles while viewing the home
page or aren't you seeing anything highlighted?

I'm trying to return to the home page, It's asking me for my FriendFeed creds again - I am clicking Authorize but it's not moving off the login page.

I'm not seeing highlighting on the stream though

Scratch that - I am seeing the highlighting - it's just not as I expected.

Hum... so you're having highlighting issues?
It's based on a algorithm that computes the
rank of an entry based on its title and the comments,
and also your neighborhood settings, give that
a try anyway :)

I'm happy you liked the APML-import thing.
I'd be open sourceing some of the code soon...
