Hi Lin,

By this email I would like to give you 2 confirmations.

1. About POHON MAS SEJAHTERA

We spoke to Pohon, they agreed with the options no.2 as per your below email.

In this case :

1. Reed will issue the invoice to Quad amounting USD5,434.

2. Reed will issue the internal agreement between Reed and Quad

3. Quad will issue the invoice to Pohon

4. Quad will pay Reed as per invoice

Next step is :

- Pohon need your exhibition PIC to assist them in order to calculate other possible costs incurred,

- and assist them to fill out your marketing and order forms, because they don't know how to fill it :-).

2. About ESDM BOOTH

According to Budi, ESDM need the standard schell scheme for their 33 sqm space area. Please proceed.

As we are running short of time, may I suggest this:-

 

1.       The contract for PT Pohon be between Reed and Quad. The contract will reflect:-

 

Raw Space @ USD380 per sqm x 24sqm                 : USD9,120

Less: Partial contra with 5x APMCI passes             : USD4,560

Sub-total                                                                             : USD4,560

Add: Registration & On-line Marketing Fee          : USD380 (this is compulsory for all exhibitors)

Cost of participation                                                       : USD4,940

Add: 10% VAT                                                                    : USD494

Total cost of participation                                             : USD5,434

 

2.       Quad will pay Reed USD5,434 by Mon, 8 Oct.

 

Aside from this, may I ask what is the status for Karimun?

 

I hope the above brings a solution to the customer. Please let me have your reply by 3pm today, so that I can proceed with the necessary urgent arrangements.

Hi Lin,

We do not want to lose this client also as your exhibition success is our success too.

The problem is, if we have offerred them 50 % discount at the beginning then we cut the discount into 10% (plus they have to pay before the show), I am affraid they will not accept this.

They have a gentleman agreement with us that this offer is exclusively provided for PT Pohon and not to expose this offer to external.

Anyway, we will try find out a solution tmrw.

I just got off the phone with Budi. I am afraid we can’t accede to a 50% disc as it won’t be fair to the international players who have paid full price. We offer early-bird sign ups at 10% max. Also, payment term for us is 100% before the event opens. On the other hand, I do not want to lose this customer.

 

I understand that Budi will be speaking to you on this and will revert with a solution.
