Unity Media Group is Hiring "Technical Project Manager"

Job Description
This person will be responsible for managing various
software development projects at Unity Media Group. The project
manager works closely with the software development and content
production teams to setup project plans, monitor team progress, manage
change requests, negotiate timelines, review deliverables, and
collaborate to break complex projects into strategic deliverables and
balance multiple priorities.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Manage project scope including gathering detailed requirements,
writing user-stories, ensuring quality, and meeting timelines.
- Test a variety of software features and provides input to the
software developers
- Undertake and successfully complete special projects with minimal
supervision
- Present a professional demeanor in all interactions with team
members, internal and external customers, management team, and
business partners
- Lead product conversion work to completion and other intensive
client-facing projects
- Energizes cross-team efforts and collaborates with internal teams
including product development managers,
software development, business development, content development, and
faculty relations
- Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent
judgment
- Develop internal progress reports such as weekly reports, product
release plans, and resource burn-down
reports
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Project Management, Technical
Communications, Business
Administration, or equivalent
- 2-5 years of related experience
- Strong analytical, facilitation, negotiation, and communication
skills
- Ability to compile and evaluate data
- Proactive involvement with educational and training activities to
enhance technical knowledge
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Excellent grammatical, spelling & editing skills, with ability to
compose clear concise business
correspondence
- Well organized, detail oriented able to manage multiple priorities,
communicates to internal customers, and
reprioritizes as necessary
- Familiarity with rich media delivery methodologies online using wed
service technologies
- Familiarity with analysis and design of web-based information
systems and portal technologies
- Prefers experience in agile methodology/SCRUM, but not required
