thats all the info i can find on the properties page of the item, can anyone tell me the appropriate driver to download, or where to get it, i have tried most of the drivers from the drivers download section of dell support and also tried win 7 cab download for the E6520. no luck in any of those. I also downloaded some drivers that just extract to a given folder and have no installer, i have tried to scan these places using the find driver option on the device properties but it keeps saying it can't find the driver for your device.
When you install a fresh copy of Windows on the computer you will need to install the drivers in the correct order for the hardware to work properly. The Bus Controller is the Chipset Drivers. Click the link below to download the drivers. There is also a link with information installing the drivers in the correct order.
hey, thanks for the info, i tried to reinstall win7 and all the drivers but it's still missing the universal serial bus (USB) controller, the thing i dont get is, i have another universal serial bus controller in the devices panel that does install properly when i run the chipset driver, but that's an intel device and has 7 things within its expanded view all installed properly but in the "other devices " expanded view sits the one that's not installing properly, the one i have given the info for in my first post. any further help with this would be gratefully appreciated.
hi again, I don't know what your telling me, Should I not be installing the chipset driver or what ? all i need to know is how to get the other device usb controller to install properly, i dont think its an intel item as i have installed the intel chipset driver and all appears to be ok under the intel usb controller device. This other device is unclear as to what its needing to be installed properly ?
after searching google for a while , a lot of comments are pointing to a Renesas Usb Controller, other people have had success with downloading and installing the driver for this item but i cant find or download the correct driver ? does the dell latitude e6520 have a Renesas USB controller inside it, am i on the right track ?
hey thanks for the info, unfortunately that didn't install the device properly either, do i need to install this driver before any other driver as i have all other drivers currently installed and am trying to install the one above afterwards.
i dont think its a lenovo that i am having the problem with, in the pic you can see its a dell laptop, the info i gave in my first post is from the properties page for the problem device. in my other post and lots of others i read, other people with dell computers had downloaded and resolved there issues with the driver i mentioned. I dont know if you are telling me to download lenovo drivers or something but i dont think that's the way to go. I will try your other link to see if i can get any more info.
The XPS-Q6 is an extremely high-performance, easy to use, 6-axis integrated motion controller/driver. The XPS-Q6 utilizes the more robust QNX operating system, while maintaining the feature-rich firmware of the XPS-C6. It offers high-speed communication through 10/100 Base-T Ethernet, outstanding trajectory accuracy and powerful programming functionality. Combining user-friendly web interfaces with advanced trajectory and synchronization features, the XPS-Q6 precisely controls the most complex to the most basic motion sequences. Multiple digital and analog I/O's, triggers and supplemental encoder inputs provide users with additional data acquisition, synchronization and control features that can improve the most demanding motion applications.Proprietary universal driver modules allow the XPS to drive 1 to 6 axes of any Newport actuator, linear, rotary or NanoPositioning stage. By using pass-through drive modules, the XPS is also capable of controlling many other motion devices, whether they use stepper, DC brush, DC brushless rotary or linear, voice coil or piezoelectric actuation. Driver Modules must be purchased separately. EPICS compatible.
