Append Votes Canvassed as of May 20, 2013

Dear Kadikit,

At the end of today's official canvass by the Comelec, 20 May 2013, APPEND Party-List garnered 233,887 votes from 110 Certificates of Canvass.

Tomorrow, the Comelec targets to canvass another 185 COCs. We will update you again.

My personal estimate is that we need 250,000 to 280,000 votes to get one (1) seat on the 2nd round of allocation. This figure is also the ballpark estimate of former Comelec Commissioner GoYo Larrazabal last week during our conversation.

Re the 12 disqualified PLs, we are still awaiting the official decision of the Comelec en banc. Should this happen, two PLs ahead of us will be delisted, moving us 2 places up. The total number of votes garnered by these 12 PLs is estimated at around 1.9M votes which will be deducted from the denominator, lowering the 2% threshold by 38,000 votes.
