Just a reminder on the Dos & Don'ts of posting/using our legal campaign propaganda materials:
1. Streamers - max 2' x 3' (please don't put them side by side if the size will exceed max allowable). We have three types, cloth and tarpaulin 2' x 3' horizontal & plastic streamer 18" x 24" vertical.
Posting in all private houses, places, buildings, stores, vehicles, etc. okay but with consent of owner/administrator.
All public places/buildings, parks, vehicles (red & yellow plates), govt offices (including bgy. halls, public schools, health care centers, multi-purpose halls), plant boxes, center islands, electric posts & hanging cables, gymnasiums, etc. are prohibited.
Best places are sari-sari stores, places near polling places (it will serve as sample ballots on Election Day if it is visible to voters), places along main highways, near or inside public markets, near PUV waiting stations, etc.
2. Pocket calendars - handouts to anyone. If we know owners of retail stores they can give to all their customers, bumili man o hindi. Hehe.
3. Leaflets - max 8.5" x 13". We have two types, offset full color 8.5" x 6.5" & riso b/w 8.3" x 5.85". We're coming out with a new version with platform, leg agenda, etc. at the back.
4. Stickers - max 8.5" x 13". We have 4"x 8" horizontal & we might have a 8.5" x 12" size for big vehicles. Same rule as streamers apply.
5. Komiks - max 8.5" x 13". We have a two-page both sides riso printed version b/w (full, lively color version can be found in our Facebook fan page - facebook.com/APPENDPartyList), folded but not stapled to make it appear they are two separate materials in order to comply with the max size requirement for handouts.
6. Party Flags (for motorcades & public rallies) attached to a 7' bamboo pole.
7. Membership forms & IDs - all coordinators IDs must be issued ASAP with corresponding filled-up forms returned to National Campaign HQ). We also have LGU-level coordinators IDs & youth group IDs.
We are encouraging all partners to form their own APL Youth Group chapters.
8. Limited t-shirts & aprons - mainly for street campaign use, motorcades & rallies. Aprons we give to market vendors, street vendors, sidewalk vendors, carinderia staff, etc. We need to makr market visits, too.
9. Campaign jingle, ringtone, 30s/15s radio plugs in 6 Philippine languages (Tagalog, Cebuano, Pangasinense, Bikolano, Ilonggo, Ilokano) - we will supply all partners with CDs.
10. AVP - a touching & effective 7-minute presentation about Append & APL which we will roll out very soon in CD format.
11. Sample Ballots - guide for all our members & supporters. These will be sent to you not later than last week of April for systematic distribution.
12. Computerized Voters List (CVL) - we will secure our nationwide copy by mid next week which we will share with our partners as part of APL's service to members & supporters. We need your area of operations list so we can copy your respective CVLs in CD form ASAP.
