Rebuild Apk After adding new layout

Hi

I have added one new layout in decompile apk. For example: activity_main and its id is 0x7f040019

I got resource not found exception. I dig deep and found that R$layout.smali file not updated. I update it manually.

.field public static final activity_main:I = 0x7f040019 // Add manually in R$layout.smali

But still I am getting same exception. 

Is there any method through which my resource update in smali files and works.
