These additional parts are offered here so that groups with instrumentation different from the basic Real Cool Book will still be able to play these charts. So if your group doesn't have a trumpet player, for example, we have here the same part (or very close) written for alto sax, for flute, and also for vibes. Each of these books are, of course, transposed for the key of the instrument playing it.

Be careful when it comes to the solo sections, however. If you are an alto player playing the Part 1 (trumpet) part, do not solo on the Alto solo sections, but rather on the Part 1 solo sections. This should become clear once you have looked the parts over. Enjoy!

The intent of this provision is unclear. One interpretation is that if an employee (or class of employees) files a lawsuit alleging a failure to provide the required severance pay, any settlement must be approved by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) or a court for a release of claims to severance to be effective. This would be consistent with wage and hour litigation under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which requires approval of the settlement to ensure its fairness and adequacy. Another interpretation is that an employer cannot provide other consideration in lieu of severance pay without approval by the commissioner of the NJDOL or court.

Suicide is a major medical and social problem. Decades of suicide research have mostly focused on risk factors for suicidal behaviour while overlooking protective factors such as resilience that may help to address this important public health issue. Resilience is the capacity and dynamic process of adaptively overcoming stress and adversity while maintaining normal psychological and physical functioning. Studies conducted over the past 10-15 years suggest that resilience is a protective factor against suicide risk. Resilience is becoming a focus of suicide research and prevention. Building resilience should be a part of universal, selective, and indicated suicide prevention interventions. Promoting resilience may reduce suicide risk in the general population, in groups at elevated suicide risk, and among high-risk individuals. Building resilience in the general population may reduce the incidence of stress-related disorders and, consequently, suicidal behaviour. Improving resilience should be a part of a treatment plan of every psychiatric patient. Mental health professionals will probably have the best success in reducing suicide risk in psychiatric patients if they actively concentrate on increasing stress resilience using both psychosocial and pharmacological interventions. It is critically important to move forward the development of pharmacological and psychological interventions for enhancing resilience.

SM: Self-Portrait as Tahitian was housed with her descendants in a private collection for a long time. I traveled to Europe to study the painting on two occasions when it was displayed as part of larger exhibitions. The first time was for the exhibition Companionable Silences curated by Shanay Jhaveri in Paris, France in 2013, and the second was for Documenta 14 in Kassel, Germany in 2017.

August 30, 2017, I began my journey as a part time Workshop Administrator with The Carpentries. I was responsible for logistical planning and communications related to individual workshops and assisted with general events. In this role, I was able to understand the daily core operations of the department. In addition, I learned the pain points of the tasks asked to be completed by the team which has allowed my decisions for the team to be experientially driven.

As I continued to grow professionally, I became the Workshop & Logistics Manager. Additional responsibilities included doing administrative tasks for the Instructor Training Team (ITT), planning the first inaugural CarpentryCon in Ireland, which had over 120 participants, and managing the global Workshop Administrators which was soon transitioned to Regional Coordinators.

After successfully accomplishing those goals, I was named the Deputy Director of Workshops. In this role, things shifted drastically. Being in this role during the pandemic we had to quickly make adaptations for offering online workshops. To date we have run over 750 online workshops since 2020. Also, I led the transition for CarpentryCon Madison to become CarpentryCon@Home, which had over 700 participants.

Being a part of the Workshop Administration Team, I have seen so much growth in myself. Prior to working for The Carpentries, I would not have deemed myself capable of leading a technical project without having a technical background.

On average the Workshop Administration Team coordinates over 550 workshops a year. We now spend our time enhancing our program and looking for ways to make our workshops more efficient for the Core Team and the external participants and not just coordinating workshops.

After 3 attempts of applying for a position in The Carpentries, I believe I was hired for the position and department that was perfect for me! I started as a part-timer and have worked every position in my department. We have progressed immensely under my leadership as Deputy Director. And now as the first Director of Workshop, there are many more improvements ahead of us.

Urdu poetry (Urdu: اُردُو شاعرى Urdū šāʿirī) is a tradition of poetry and has many different forms. Today, it is an important part of the culture of India and Pakistan. According to Naseer Turabi there are five major poets of Urdu: Mir Taqi Mir (d.1810), Mirza Ghalib (d. 1869), Mir Anees (d.1874), Muhammad Iqbal (d. 1938) and Josh Malihabadi (d.1982). The language of Urdu reached its pinnacle under the British Raj, and it received official status. All famous writers of Urdu language including Ghalib and Iqbal were given British scholarships.[1] Following the Partition of India in 1947, it found major poets and scholars were divided along the nationalistic lines. However, Urdu poetry is cherished in both the nations. Both the Muslims and Hindus from across the border continue the tradition.

In the Urdu poetic tradition, most poets use a pen name called the Takhallus (تخلص). This can be either a part of a poet's given name or something else adopted as an identity. The traditional convention in identifying Urdu poets is to mention the takhallus at the end of the name. The word takhallus[5] is derived from Arabic, meaning "ending". This is because in the Ghazal form, the poet would usually incorporate his or her pen name into the final couplet (شعر) (maqta) of each poem.

In a suit in equity by the second mortgagee against the first mortgagee of a parcel of real estate, allegations that the parcel had a fair market value of $52,500 but was sold by the defendant at public auction for $35,500 and that the defendant, who had complied with the statutory notice requirements of G. L. c. 244, Section 14, had failed to give the plaintiff actual notice of the foreclosure sale did not support an inference of bad faith on the part of the defendant; correspondence between the parties prior to the sale did not constitute a special agreement whereby the defendant was under a duty to give notice in a different manner from that which the statute required. [400-403]

the same property. The second mortgage is dated June 25, 1969, and is in the face amount of $21,240. By letter dated June 27, 1969, the attorney for the plaintiff advised the defendant bank of its interest in the premises and enclosed a check in the amount of $1,444 to reinstate the first mortgage account. The last paragraph of that letter stated, "In the event that you occasion any problems whatsoever in connection with the first mortgage held by you on the above captioned premises, kindly notify the second mortgagee at the above given address." On July 3, 1969, the attorney for the defendant bank returned the check to the plaintiff's attorney and advised the plaintiff that he was asked to commence foreclosure proceedings. The letter read, in relevant part, "I represent the South Shore National Bank, which has asked me to commence and complete foreclosure proceedings in the above-entitled matter." On November 21, 1969, the mortgagor notified the plaintiff that the premises had been sold that day at public auction for $35,500. The plaintiff, on or about June, 1969, appraised the property subject to the mortgage and determined its fair market value to be $52,500. We will assume that there was no substantial depreciation in the value of the premises from June, 1969, to the date of the sale, that the plaintiff was never notified of the sale and that at all times he was ready and willing to purchase the premises.
