I am challenged with the terms and setting up a test. Are there YouTube videos to watch and step through?

No videos that I know of, but I followed this example since it was close to what I wanted (only do something if conditions are true at night):

If you don't have some basic computer logic background I understand how the terminology can be confusing. If you want anything clarified in that regard let me know what terms are confusing. I initially found boolean variables and boolean conditions confusing since they both have only boolean states (true/false). I've found naming my variables with descriptive names has helped me with the logic.

Thank you both for asking and answering!
What would you suggest as an improvements to help newbies getting off the ground?

An overview video explaining the terms (variable, condition, logicblock, webhook, IFTTT action) and showing how to set up a quick automation might be helpful to onboard new users who may not have a background in scripting.

I tend to prefer written instructions over videos so I found the examples helpful, but I was wondering if you plan to support "templates" for variables, conditions, and logicblocks. In my setup I ended up creating about 16 variables and 20 conditions with mostly the same settings except for the name. If there were a way to quickly clone an existing variable/condition with a new name that would make the process go much faster. And in the case of new users, if they could start from a "template" variable/condition/logicblock or even import from a template file that would allow less technical users to import proven working setups similar to how IFTTT allows publishing working applets.

Thanks for your feedback!
We'll certainly look into templates or other means to speed up the setup of very common configurations.
