Generating for only @api classes?

Is it possible to generate only @api documented classes? Do not include non API classes.

I have tried a few hacks using $class->hasAnnotation('api') but I kept getting undefined class names thrown in different places. I cannot work out best way to achieve it.

Any suggestions appreciated!
