Upcoming Faith Committee Visit to Evergreen Baptist Church

Hello everyone,

The members of the Faith Committee would like to invite you all to join us at an upcoming group event:

Our friends at the Evergreen Baptist Church, Bonnie Tang, Marian Sunabe and Eric Lui, have graciously welcomed us to visit their worship service. Bonnie & Marian are very strong supporters of LGBT equality. You don't have to be a person of faith or Christian to join us. Just be open-minded and willing to make new friends. The worship style at Evergreen is contemporary Christian with an inspiring message. There will be a lot of music and friendly faces.

Sunday, February 27 
11:00 am - Please arrive early so that we can meet our friends beforehand. 
11:30 am - Service starts

We also plan to have lunch with members from the congregation after the service. The restaurant will be determined at a later date.  Dim sum has been suggested.  Of course, other Rosemead lunch suggestions are welcome. Sometime during the visit, probably over lunch, we also plan on having a discussion with our Evergreen friends about an LGBT/Christian workshop class that will be done at their church at a later date.
