Hello Active Core!

You are cordially invited to meet Evan Low, one of the few gay API elected officials in the country.  In 2006, at the age of 23 Evan successfully ran for the City Council of Campell, CA.  In both 2009 and 2010 he was selected by his colleagues to serve as Mayor.  He currently works for Democratic State Assembly member Paul Fong and is a member of the Democratic National Committee.  He is currently planning to run for California's 24th State Assembly district in 2012.

 

Join API Equality-LA for an informal breakfast meet and greet on Saturday April 30 at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Marshall Wong, 458 N. Edinburgh Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90048.  Street parking is available but guests must display permits which will be available upon arrival.
