Volunteers still needed for Annual Festival of Philippine Arts & Culture

[API Equality - LA]

Hi everyone!

For those of you I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet, my name is Asad and I am one of the new community organizers with API Equality-LA! I'm really excited to be apart of the API-Equality-LA team and hope to meet you all soon at our upcoming events!

Recognized as Southern California's largest and longest-running celebration of Filipino arts and culture, FPAC honors the creative spirit of the Filipino American and embraces diversity through vivid artistry and cultural expression every year. 

API Equality-LA will be talking to festival-goers to make sure that API folks are an active, vocal and visible part of the fight for LGBT rights. In order to do that, we will be identifying supporters and recruiting volunteers! As this festival generally draws a younger, very progressive crowd, this is a perfect event for first-time and new volunteers. We will provide ALL festival volunteers with training. Come enjoy the festival while advancing equality for our communities!
