TREES OF HOPE PROJECT, GIFT A FRUIT TREE TO MT ELGON LANDSLIDE VICTIMS THIS FESTIVE SEASON:

As Greening Uganda, this festive season 2025, we have opted to stand with the landslide victims, donating 10,000 fruit trees, this will include Mangoes, Avocadoes, Papayas, Soursop, Jakafruit, Jambula, Empafu, as well as 10,000 Ornamentals for shade, windbreakers, and medicinal trees.

In the photos, this was on the 9th of December 2025, Greening Uganda field forest technicians commissioning and planting fruit trees in Bunambutye Landslide Victims Resettlement Camp. To reduce mortality of the planted FRUIT Trees, we have provided aqua soil, training on management with bottle drip irrigation & mulching.
