Job Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing production management.
• Undergraduate degree preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills required
• Demonstrated knowledge of production planning, dealing with complexity, process improvement
• BAAN Systems or similar ERP system knowledge preferred

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure that goods are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality
• Oversee production process; draw up production schedule based on planned requirements
• Ensure production schedule is cost effective
• Make sure products are produced on time and are of good quality
• Set high quality standards. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization Standards
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed
• Work with line leads to determine and execute training needs.
• Implement GMCW’s policies and goals. Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures
• Introduce and execute lean manufacturing initiatives
• Maintain safe and clean work environment
• Implement and maintain KPI for all manufacturing lines and direct reports.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure adequate support for manufacturing lines.
• Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
