We are very pleased to announce that the speaker for our April Professional Development Meeting will be Sharon Rice, VP of Strategy for APICS.

 

Topic: Bridging the Supply Chain Talent Gap

 

Today’s dynamic marketplace is changing the way supply chain and operations management professionals think about their human capital. As organizational structures advance and evolve, new and often challenging talent requirements arise. 

During our keynote presentation, Sharon Rice, APICS Vice President of Strategy, will discuss evolving corporate supply chain capabilities and how supply chain professionals can ensure they have the competencies needed to achieve their professional and personal goals. She will share insights from APICS Supply Chain Council sponsored research and how APICS continues to contribute to both corporate and professional success through its education and certification programs. 

 

Speaker: Sharon Rice

 

Sharon Rice is the vice president of strategy for APICS and oversees the overall strategic direction of APICS to maximize growth and profitability.  Rice is responsible for the project management office and has also served as executive director of the APICS Foundation, where she oversaw the operations and success of the foundation.

Rice has been responsible for guiding the planning, development, and management of APICS education courseware, professional development programs, research, industry content, publications, and marketing for the past five years. Rice brings 20 years of association management experience to APICS.
