APICS Fall Cities Chapter Professional Development Meeting

We are very pleased to kick off our 2015-16 chapter year with the announcement that the speaker for our August Professional Development Meeting will be John Sacksteder, Project Manager for the Ohio River Bridges project.
Topic: Ohio River Bridges Project Update
One of the major obstacles to any community’s growth is its ability to expand its regional infrastructure. As Louisville and the neighboring Kentuckiana area are committed to support this work – we find ourselves in the midst of one of the largest engineering projects in decades.
Join us as we get insights into the history and progress of the amazing work taking place.
Speaker: John Sacksteder
John has been the project manager for the Ohio River Bridges project since late 2004. He oversees the work of 6-sectional leaders and reports to a bi-state management team on a weekly basis to keep everything moving forward.
After graduating from the UofL Speed School of Engineering, John spent over 30 years in various roles within KYTC including Dir. of Highway Design and Asst. State Highway Engineer.
Since his retirement from KYTC in 2000, John as worked for HMB Professional Engineers; a civil engineering and environmental planning firm headquartered in Frankfort, KY.
