Dear Friends,
Last week the CA Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA) and Employment Training Panel (ETP) released their SEED Solicitation for Proposals:
https://etp.ca.gov/grants/
The SEED proposal deadline is March 3, with two webinars scheduled NEXT WEEK to review the proposal process and answer questions:
- Tuesday, February 2 at 11 a.m. PST
- Thursday, February 4 at 1 p.m. PST
You must RSVP for either the 2/2 or 2/4 webinar in order to receive the on-line link.
Background on SEED Solicitation for Proposals (SFP):
ETP will provide approximately $9.65 million
in
funding to CBOs to provide training, outreach, micro-grants, and technical assistance to immigrant entrepreneurs. In addition, there will be a SEED worker cooperative demonstration project to support the incubation, development, and capacity building of worker cooperatives in low-wage industries as a strategy to increase worker voice, economic equity, and high road practices.
Best,
Betty
