The app is available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.aphanmemo

Make sure you access the Play Store with the same Gmail account you used to join this group, otherwise the beta will not be visible.

Google may take some time between your subscription and access to the beta. Feel free to wait a little while and refresh the store page.

Aphanmemo is an episodic journal designed for people affected by one or more of these cognitive particularities:
  • Aphantasia: absence or weakness of visual mental imagery
  • Anendophasia: absence or weakness of inner speech
  • SDAM: autobiographical memory without episodic re-experiencing
These particularities make reconstructing memories difficult or impossible through conventional means. Aphanmemo aims to compensate for that.

The app is fully local: no account, no server, your data stays on your device.

If you are not personally affected by any of these particularities, your help is just as valuable: an outside perspective is essential for testing the interface, catching bugs and making sure the app makes sense to everyone.

This group is for:
  • Reporting bugs or unexpected behaviour
  • Sharing general impressions about the app
  • Receiving new test builds
For structured feedback, a dedicated form is available:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeMB3YymY_k94RBBG83VtT_mvWBr-PAhM6-FFjJlikZ4CLHaQ/viewform?usp=header

Thank you for being part of this test phase. Your perspective matters.
