I saw these political ads over the weekend (because of the big race
today for the Senate seat in MA)... they say things like "Call Martha
Coakley and tell her to support ___________" or "Email Scott Brown and
ask him ___________". They don't actually say to vote for them, and
they aren't sponsored by the candidate themselves or the party. I
remember we learned about these before.... can someone help me
remember what they were called and why they were important?
