For all unpaid accounts that no response has been received and
continues to go unpaid, a collection agency has been found to begin
the collection process. I regret that we have had to take this step to
resolve unpaid and past due accounts, but it is completely unfair to
our coaches and to our partner the YMCA to not be able to pay the full
amount owed to them. We can't afford to be ignored by anyone unwilling
to pay their obligation, because we simply can't default on our debts.
While I understand that financial hardships may have occurred I
encourage anyone willing to resolve this to contact the club
immediately. Those that continue to ignore notices are subject to the
legal sanction for club fees and any legal costs incurred in this
action.
The fees for the club were set up to provide a cost-effective program
and not exclude anyone based on financial need provided they were
willing to fundraise and to adhere to a payment schedule. The
financial structure is designed to be affordable with very little
cushion to protect the club from delinquent accounts. ALL members who
registered with USAV and participated this season received a club
policy handbook which stated the exact costs and expectation of
obligation. We've been assured that acceptance of membership (which is
evidenced by USAV membership specific to our club) and participation
is binding regardless of length of participation and willingness to
pay.
If you have received a notice and have questions please contact us
immediately.
