Ref: Damage to Gym Mirror Glass by Ms. Dipali Mehta, T-5 Flat No. 503 on 01 April 2026
This is with reference to the damage caused to the gym mirror glass on 01 April 2026.
As per the Clubhouse Gym SOP, any damage caused to clubhouse assets is required to be made good by the concerned resident, or the applicable damage charges are required to be paid, within
7 days of the incident.
You had earlier verbally agreed to either bear the damage cost or arrange replacement through your own vendor. To facilitate the same, the Society Team shared
five market quotations and also provided you the option of replacement through your vendor while maintaining the same specifications and quality standards.
Despite repeated follow-ups, we have neither received the damage charges nor observed any concrete action initiated from your side toward replacement of the damaged mirror.
Considering the safety of other members using the gym, the damaged mirror cannot be retained any longer, as it poses a safety hazard.
You are hereby requested to do any one of the following on or before 10 May 2026:

Replace the damaged mirror through your vendor as per required specifications; or
-
Approve the vendor suggested by the Society Team; or
-
Deposit the L1 vendor charges with the Clubhouse Team for immediate replacement.
In case no action is initiated within the above stipulated period, CB Apex shall presume that you do not intend to make good the damage and are in violation of the Clubhouse SOP despite prior intimation.
Accordingly, CB Apex shall proceed with replacement of the damaged mirror in the interest of safety and benefit of other society members, and the entire replacement cost shall be recovered through your CAM bill without any further correspondence.
This notice is being issued with interim Apex approval for recovery of the damaged asset.

I am trying to cooperate but i am not ready to pay 25k for one mirror.
Please find a better vendor.

Apologies for the inconvenience. As per committee policy, the mirror needs to be replaced at the earliest, and we regret that we are unable to delay this further.
You may kindly proceed either with the provided quotation or arrange the replacement from your end.

Rs.25,000 is too steep to fix one mirror. Am ready to pay the expense of the damage but it should be a reasonable amount.
It was an accident but I understand that damage needs to be paid.
