Dear Clubhouse Management Team,
I am writing to follow up on a safety issue I reported to the Duty Manager today at 8:30 AM.
There is a recurring and dangerous situation where children and non-swimmers are loitering in the designated lap swimming area (left of the lane separator). This morning, a child who was playfully walking in that area nearly collided with a swimmer. To prevent
serious injury and ensure the area remains functional for its intended purpose, I request the following actions:
-
Strict Enforcement: Ensure that only active swimmers are using the lap lane. Trainers, beginners, and non-swimmers/ jay walkers/those who leisurely hang in that area- should be restricted from this section.
-
Capacity Control: Please enforce the existing rule of a maximum of two swimmers in the lap lane at any given time.
-
Clear Signage: Install two prominent signs stating: "LAP SWIMMERS ONLY" and
"MAXIMUM 2 SWIMMERS."
-
Equipment Replacement: The current lane separator is made of sharp, rough-edged plastic that is causing scrapes and cuts. Please replace this with a standard, soft-material competitive lane rope to ensure user safety.
Please share this correspondence with the Apex/Apex Sports team and the
Clubhouse Manager for immediate resolution.

Dear Pravin,
The pool floor chips especially in the lap swimmers lane have come off and it is dangerous if people walk in the lane meant for lap swimmers. So kindly ban walkers in the lap swimmers lane. They can walk or laze around in the larger area outside of lap swimmers
lane.
Also in the lap lane, having 3 swimmers at a time is dangerous as we run into each other. Kindly restrict to 2 swimmers at a time in the lap swimmers lane.
Timing limit of 40-45 minutes in the lap swimmers lane is great but it needs to be enforced as I have noticed no ne keeps a check on that.
regards
Venke Sharma
