Job Description
Need Scrum masters
If they have some experience on Data Science i.e. Python, R, Spark, Scala, PySpark (any) it will be preferred
Manage and prioritize a team’s work using Agile techniques.
• Work with senior management in CAI and across divisions.
• Develop and maintain an advanced knowledge of Vanguard business and IT methodologies and apply this knowledge to project work. Ensure that project deliverables meet CAI needs.
• Own the Agile backlog, including its population, prioritization and pruning.
• Ensure a comprehensive change management and implementation plan is in place.
• Support process owners and the PMO in the continuous improvement of current processes. Identify technology implications and recommend technology solutions in conjunction with IT team to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology/analytical field such as Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Operations Research, or other relevant scientific or technology field.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in IT roles executing in an Agile environment.
• Experience as a Scrum Master or related experience leading best practices on Agile teams.
• Experience in aggressively addressing impediments and promoting flow of work.
• Experience working with Jira
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading Agile projects of medium to large size and/or multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal, persuasion and communication skills.
• Preferred to have experience working with big data systems and cloud (AWS preferred).
• Experience in programming preferred. Preferred languages are Python, R, Spark (Scala, PySpark), Java and other object oriented languages acceptable.
• Strong skill in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, InfoPath, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
