Happy new Year from the Apertus team!
When starting to write this newsletter post I reviewed how well we
kept our promises to send regular progress updates to this newsletter
list and I must say I am flattered. August, September, October,
November, December and now January, I can't believe we got the timing
so well we didn't even set any alarm clocks and had not written any
big TODO notes on our desks :) ... anyway.

time ago we were looking for an alternative for accepting donations:
Flattr.com has the subtitle "social micro-payments". You sign up and
decide how much money you want to spend on micro-payments (minimum is
2€) each month. Then you click on the "Flattr" button on projects that
you like and want to support: film projects, music, art, photography,
written text, etc.. At the end of the month your money is split up
between all the projects that you "liked".
