Hi.
How can I disable or supply a "FileNaming Preset" in Aperture 3? I have been chasing a problem with my plugin on certain customer computers what have a FileNaming Preset turned on. When they export using my plugin, Aperture is creating a version file, with a different name then what is in the meta data "kExportKeyVersionName", I am expecting the name to be what's in the "kExportKeyVersionName" field. Maybe I am making a bad assumption?

I have "wantsFileNamingControls" set to NO.

Thanks

The version name of an image in Aperture has absolutely no guaranteed relationship to the file name of the file that Aperture passes to your plug-in. In fact, the file passed to your plug-in may be nested inside folders, etc.

The -wantsFileNamingControls method simply tells Aperture whether to display the controls to the user or not.

There is no way for you to supply a file naming preset - if you want to rename the files, go ahead and do that after Aperture passes you the file.
