Our edit plugin doesn't support Photoshop format. Is there any way to
override what Aperture generates for us to be a TIFF? How upset are
users going to be if force them to set their external editor format to TIFF?

Assuming I did add support for Photoshop, would this undermine somehow
what the PSD is being used for? Since we don't support PSD layers/blend
modes or anything, if we load a PSD and then save over it when we're
done, wouldn't that "break" something if the user had been going into
Photoshop with the file? Or are we expected to maintain the structure of
the file somehow?

Never mind!

I was using a deprecated version of the headers and found the new one
with support for the desired output type. Yay!
