But, Talking about the automatic day and night themes are more like fancy lighting on a Lamborghini. Not all users love dark theme, like me. I get bored easliy reading with black backgrounds. If you are going to implement something like sunset themes, You should then provide an option to user to choose what theme to make default for him.
In 1954, Paul Zeller bought the Cafe, moved it to its current location 847 Orange Ave. and renamed it The Night and Day Cafe. He operated, cooked and managed the cafe, serving up hearty breakfasts, burgers and comfort food. It was a lively cafe, serving the locals.

It was pretty good. Best fish tacos I've ever had, and the chips they make fresh every time you other them so they are always nice and hot. The kitchen is right in front of you so you can see them cook, which is nice. Overall had a great meal with the boys here.
Chicken taco and grilled fish taco... I love them both and can't decide which one ranks. These were the two best tacos I have had in a very long time, In a city of great tacos! They were loaded with savory protein (cooked on the grill right in front of me) and fresh veggies. The fish taco had a generous slice of avocado on top. The grill cook was friendly and checked in on how I liked my food.
Coronado has a lot of restaurants that are flashy and tourists go because it they look trendy and overpriced. Night and day cafe is a hidden gem. I always get the tuna melt, it's amazing. You watch the cook make the food right at the bar and he's so quick and talented. You get nice big portions too. Highly recommend!
What an awesome place! The food was amazing and everyone was super friendly. I had the carne asada omelette and my fianc built his own. The hash browns were cooked perfectly. They are open until 3am which was great because our plane landed at midnight. It was nice to get such great food at such a late hour.
This was one of the best cafes I have ever been to. You can watch them make your food right in front of you, and they had it out to us in less than 10 minutes with plenty of people already sitting before us. It was delicious, home cooked fresh breakfast. It was HUGE so we couldn't even finish it. Excellent service. Can not wait to come back!
I have a data table with a column of POSIXct date/times. I would like to create a column that specifies "day" or "night" based on the POSIXct timestamp. Day is defined in local time as between 05:30:00 and 20:00:00.
My Google Camera just started flipping from night vision to day vision every few seconds when ambient light is dim. It does this for about 10 minutes at dusk and dawn. If it's cloudy outside, it can also do it additional times of the day. It makes a loud click when it switches, so it's REALLY annoying, as it clicks every few seconds (and in the morning, people are trying to sleep in that room). I have unplugged the camera multiple times to try to reset it, but it still has the issue. Camera is only about one year old.
Hi Jenelyn - I still have the issue. I have not seen any response yet that makes sense for my issue. ("Changing the ambient light" is silly, since this happens at dusk and dawn, as the sun itself is changing the light from night (which should be Google night vision) to day (regular camera vision). I CANNOT ask the sun to change it's method of lighting the sky. Well, I could ASK, but I'm fairly certain that request would be in vain.)
Thanks Jenelyn and Lance ... I did see the post. I just think that it's ODD that what appears to be a defect in the camera's light detection has a recommended "fix" of just TURNING OFF the main function of the camera, which is to record good video during daylight hours. If I switch to just night vision all the time, I do see how that would circumvent (but not fix) the bug in the camera. It seems like Google should have the capacity to debug this problem in their cameras rather than just having us turn off a main feature. IMHO. But thank you for your responses; I DO appreciate that very much.
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. I'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.

The very first wristwatches were worn by women in the early 1900s and were only later adopted by men. Edmond Jaeger and Jacques-David LeCoultre quickly understood that the wristwatch would revolutionise the entire industry. They also understood how this revolution could change the entire approach to watchmaking. The drive to craft watches that were thinner, more complex and that featured elements of high jewellery and complications, was inspired by women. For women, a watch was not only to tell time, but it was an ornament, a jewel, to accompany them throughout day and night. Our Rendez-Vous luxury watch collection continues this proud tradition today.
It includes movement testing before and after casing and extends throughout assembly, according to conditions that match daily wear. A quality seal is engraved on the back of every watch once it meets our strict standards.

Our objective was to assess the prognostic significance of the night-time dipping pattern and the night-day blood pressure (BP) ratio for mortality and cardiovascular events in hypertensive patients without major cardiovascular disease at baseline. We performed a meta-analysis on individual data of 3468 patients from four prospective studies performed in Europe. Age of the subjects averaged 61+/-13 years; 45% were men and 61% were under antihypertensive treatment at the time of ambulatory BP monitoring. The night-day BP ratio and 24-h BP averaged, respectively, 0.907+/-0.085/0.866+/-0.095 and 138.1+/-16.4/82.3+/-11.0 mm Hg. Total follow-up time amounted to 23 164 patient-years. We used multivariable Cox regression analysis to assess the outcome of reverse dippers, non-dippers and extreme dippers vs dippers, and to assess the hazard ratios associated with 1 standard deviation higher night-day BP ratio. In comparison with dippers, and with adjustment for confounders and 24-h BP, the incidence of cardiovascular events was worse in reverse dippers (P

Last week I installed christmas lights - big bright LED snowflakes... As soon as I turn those lights the cameras will start going crazy, meaning they continously switch between day (color) and night modes,,, back and forth every 5 seconds or so. There is this loud "click" sound associated with switchign between day and night (infrared) modes. The lights are about 3-4 feet away from the camera.
2. Will they break eventually if they continuously through the night keep switching back and forth? Based on the loud click sound I presume there is a mechanical action involved in switching between infrared and regular.
3. There is not. If your christmas lights make the image change, that is detected as movement. If your christmas lights blink or something like that, there is movement, so you will have 24h recordings.
I don't believe the cameras have any menus - i will look into this thanks. The thing is Christmas lights do not blink - they are set to constant light, yet the cameras go crazy flipping back and forth.
Then you can try to move the lights a little bit more far away from the cameras, so they do get in night mode and stay that way through the night. Or cover some of the lights, etc. If they do not blink at all, you should be able to find a point where the cameras go to night mode with no problem.
Thanks. I fixed it (for now) by putting small piece of electric tape over light sensor (i figured thats what it was). By permanently covering it I am fooling the camera to think its dark and it should turn on the night vision mode.
