Important Message to OQSC Members and Mentors

Dear members, mentors, 

We all are in the process of knowledge sharing among Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors. 

We have decided to convey the following message to members and mentors due to some concerns raised by some of our mentors and members recently:  

1. OQSC is a knowledge sharing group opened to Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors without any border. 

2. OQSC has started its activities in March 2013, with a small study group formed on a request from some of our quantity surveyors. 

3. Today OQSC is fairly large group servicing more than 400 members via face to face and on,line classes. 

4. OQSC hold classes and study programs in UAE as a joint venture with APC Discussion Group which started 5 years ago. 

5. OQSC objective is delivering quantity surveying related knowledge to its members and Sri Lankan professional society at large. Our vision is creating maximum opportunities to Sri Lankans in delivering and gaining the knowledge. OQSC platform is open to any Sri Lankan professional who wants share knowledge.  

6. OQSC never used its platform for any kind of discussions related to any other Sri Lankan organization in UAE. However, we respect all rights of individuals and their decisions towards any social activity within the society. 

7. OQSC has a policy towards variations to our CPD programs due to other programs, according to the following criteria:

a. Invitation from the organization / group who conduct the event 

b. Relevance to OQSC program, if it is a CPD event 

c. Impact to OQSC structured programs towards APC processes
