This may sound weird and in all probability it is, but I have truly started to enjoy watching movies in my own company, accompanied with a pen and my diary/ even phone, sans the sodas, colas and munchies...
Well, phone on most instances helps me write down, the information, the dialogue, the thought and the connecting chain of thoughts and helps me delve a little deeper, into the expansive psyche of the human mind and the brain...(the organ, the machine that it affects)...and both though interconnected, are slightly different from the other.
Remember the movie 3 idiots...where the 3 friends were "slightly rebellious" from the rest or should we say they were rather "the Originals" ...and then there was Virus...(Viru Sahastrebudhe)... and until now, the name "Virus" for me had just been an abbreviation for Viru Sahastrebudhe, till it made some more sense than just no-sense abbreviation...
Virus also represents... the mindset, the conditioning's, the learning's of our society...right from parenting, to imparting education, to the way we live our lives, because it is this mindset (the conditioning) that leaves an imprint, a pattern on the brains neural connections, passed down across generations...
and yet again, if we are constantly racing, constantly running...when are we ever truly learning, for learning never happens, when we are in the constant flight, flight or freeze distracted response. Information Bombardment---Yes, learning NO...
and it can be argued, that Rancho (the protagonist) had nothing to lose (in terms of family and family members- their acceptability) while the rest had everything to lose... but if we truly understand "in being well trained, they would have lost everything including their own-selves...their dreams, their passions and everything that meant something to do them...at times even their own physical lives".
..and as the Virus is both within and outside of us...let's slow down and ask, "Which virus has arrested us more...which is a bigger threat...which has the higher chances of finding a cure...which inhibits more ???"...
Even the professor, like most, still assumes that Art and Commerce is easier than Math(Engineering) and are primarily for those who aren't the brightest in the group, that learning can happen only in a particular way (my way or the highway)...that's the mindset (the belief) and the brain functions in keeping with the mindset... and there are tons of these Viruses in the form of our conditioned beliefs, that leave their imprint on this fantastic machine we call the Brain.
My son is gonna be an engineer, a doctor, a lawyer, a sportsman and maybe a few other identities ...and the girl is gonna be a doctor, a teacher, a sanskari obedient housewife, a mother and on very rare instances... a player, a wrestler, a gymnast, an astronaut, a painter, a dancer, a singer, a writer, a policeman(not even a woman here), a bartender, a DJ, a pilot, an archaeologist or any other thing...for any other of those professions may not garner finances, respect and they will not enable her to be a sanskari obedient docile housewife...
When most men, on being asked, aren't even comfortable with the idea of wearing women's clothing as a part of the routine attire...while many women, on the other hand, are quite open to switching and shifting not only their attires but also the prescribed gender roles...
has been addressed by Alain De Button, on many instances...a forgotten feeling by many...ENVY...and as he very rationally puts it "Do we envy Princess Rania or the Queen of England...either they are too weird for us or they are in a different league all together" we only compete with people who are similar or familiar to us...and we envy, not having what they have..."The Grass is always greener on the other side"...
This Virus, (Viru Sahastrebudhe) lives and expresses itself in all of us...Corona has given most of us the time to go within and look for the imprint and the extent of the growth of this particular Virus...
Corona will be taken care of by the experts, the researchers, someday or the other, in due time...but let's also try and investigate on this Virus, that has been there and has been passed down and will be passed down as a genetic code, for generations, if it goes unacknowledged and a cure isn't made available...it's time to find a cure for both the Viruses together.
A leading QAnon promoter who urged both her followers and strangers she passed on the street not to take the COVID vaccine died Thursday of the coronavirus, making her just the latest vaccine opponent killed by the disease.
In late December, however, Weldon started showing symptoms of coronavirus infection. In her last video, posted on Dec. 28, Weldon struggled through her remarks about the coming overthrow of the United States government, coughing and complaining that she was exhausted.
In September, a QAnon follower named Veronica Wolski became a cause celebre in QAnon circles after she was hospitalized with the coronavirus. QAnon fans besieged the hospital with phone calls demanding that Wolski receive ivermectin, the deworming drug used by some as an unproven coronavirus treatment. Wolski died of the disease later that month.
In the face of these deaths, their surviving friends and supporters have started to allege that the dead QAnon figures are being murdered, either because they were refused internet folk remedies like ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine, or because they were killed by the deep-state to cover up their conspiracy theories. In December, Kuzma and a number of other conspiracy theorists were sickened with COVID-like symptoms after appearing together at a conference. Rather than acknowledge that they had COVID, the far-right influencers suggested they had been targeted by an anthrax attack.
