Hey RAC,

Attached you find the notes from our RAC meeting in Oslo. Please all read through the notes, so you know what we agreed on; and in case sth important is missing, or worded wrong in your opinion, please let Loic and me know.

There are a few things to do and adjust regarding to our decisions made:

1)       Jen and Geli, how far are we with the decision which list servers to take for the DCs? (should we stick to the version we use for the policy list server?)

2)       We need 2 dedicated people to adjust the RAC charter to our decisions made. Who can do that over the next 2 weeks?

3)       Any suggestions for people that are interested and we could approach to take on the terrestrial DC position (could be ecology or biology)?

4)       Anyone has Sam Rustricks email address?

I look forward to join more list servers soon :)

Best,

-Kim

Hi Kim,

here is what I found on the web (I think he is in Bristol now): s.p.s.r...@googlemail.com

He sort of agreed to become a (deputy) DC, so I would be glad if he would become involved and hopefully take over from me later this year... he was very keen in Oslo. Do you want me to contact him?

Cheers, Claudia

Hi Claudia,

Yes, he was keen, that’s why I really wanted to get in touch with him about options to help and be involved.

If you would like him to take over eventually, it would be great if you could contact him; make any suggestion you’d like concerning your research field, and see if he is interested. Maybe just develop the list server with him etc, so you could work on it both as long as you are still involved. If you are not sure if you will stay with the RAC longer or not yet the end of the year, we could also find other solutions. Hope this sounds all right? I’d be happy to be ccd, and let me know if I can help.

greetings,

-Kim
