This depends on your financial situation, but for only $80 a year, I honestly think F1 TV Pro is worth the money.

My family pays $300+ per month for our cable subscription, and we probably watch only 10 channels, if that.

Thus, to pay only $80 for a year and have access to a ridiculous amount of F1 analysis, exclusive pre and post-race interviews, technical shows, hundreds of races, and more exclusive content, it seems worth the money.

The 2023 F1 season is set to be the most exciting yet, with 23 confirmed races including the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix. Better still, motorsport fans can get closer to the action with F1 TV, the sport's official streaming service.

F1 TV Pro is the service's premium offering, and offers subscribers live coverage of every Formula One race of the season. On top of that you also get to stream every track session for all GPs and access all driver onboard cameras & team radios, plus access to live streams of F2, F3 and Porsche Supercup races.

The key difference between F1 TV Pro and the significantly cheaper F1 TV Access tier is that the latter doesn't include live coverage of races, offering delayed replays and highlights instead.

While the US and Canada are well served with F1 TV offering full live coverage of races in both regions, viewers in both countries also have the option of watching via traditional linear broadcasters.

I have an italian Autosprint magazines from almost whole 1973 season and as i remember, whole 1973 F1 season was transmitted from Swiss TV. Even Argentinian, Brasilian and South African GP were transmitted directly in full colour and in full integrity. I must check these old magazines and scan TV schedule.

The first hungarian broadcasting was in 1976 Austrian GP.This time we was communist country-and we had only one Broadcasting channel was MTV(Magyar Televízió).The commentator was Sándor Dávid, and the main journalist(who knows about F1) was Andrew Frankl from Britain.
It was a story about this event:The race was too long and the MTV was broken the broadcasting.Too many people wrote to MTV 'why broken the broadcasting?' After year-by-year broadcaster more and more events. If I remember in 1993 was the first year when was the full season broadcasting in MTV.

ABC shown far more F1 in 1960s than I previously thought.

Apart from showing Monaco every year (and not showing USA, because CBS did that, usually a few months after the event...), they showed Mexico and Italy. In fact, Mexico was shown from the very first championship race, in 1963 and most likely was shown up until 1970 (can't confirm all the races yet).

Thanks a lot for this information. Portugese TV schedules from pre-1969 are quite poor, so I wasn't aware of this one. If you remember any other races, that my list missing, please tell me, I will be very thankful.

Finally, I managed to find information about 1976 Japanese GP broadcast in Australia. The race was shown on Channel 9, scheduled from 2PM to 4PM (Sydney time).

As far as I know this was the ONLY live coverage of this race. From what I gathered, Japanese tv TBS (not Fuji TV) was supposed to show the race, but due to the rain delay they showed only beginning of it.

In the US, you can sign up to F1 TV Pro, which lets you have full access to live races, as well as immediate race replays and extra live timing features. This subscription costs $80 for a year or $9.99 a month.

To access the service, you simply need to download the app from your TVs app store and enter your login information. Then, you can enjoy the live stats and thrills of a race weekend from the comfort of your own sofa.

The deep dive started on Thursday with a new look Weekend Warm Up, where news and insider gossip from the paddock is brought to you by the F1 TV presenting team of Will Buxton, Laura Winter, Laurence Barretto and Rosanna Tennant.

Friday coverage is focused on Free Practice 1 and 2. Alex Jacques leads the commentary team with IndyCar racer James Hinchcliffe and, for select races, F1 race winner David Coulthard. F1 TV Pro guides you through the key stories with driver analysis from Jolyon Palmer and engineering insights from Sam Collins, including Tech Talk.

F1 TV is easy to sign up to through your Android or IOS device. Just download the F1 TV app from the app store and register with your details. The app will then allow you to purchase the package using Google Pay or Apple Pay in your local currency. Once your package is set up you can then sign into any devices you have to watch the service.

In the U.S., live Formula One races air on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2. Each Grand Prix broadcast is commercial-free, with coverage provided by Sky Sports. ESPN2 will also show an alternate telecast on select race days called The Grandstand with Daniel Ricciardo and Will Arnet.

The 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship schedule runs from March to November. Notable changes from the 2022 calendar include the return of the Qatar Grand Prix (which took a hiatus because of the FIFA World Cup) and the debut of the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Hulu + Live TV also has the MOTOR TREND channel, which features popular automotive series and live races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With only 13 total sports channels, Hulu + Live TV still finds a way to satisfy us motorsport fanatics.

Today it did not record the race, which I assume is because the race is also shown on demand. When I clicked the on demand after the race had started took me to the live feed instead of showing it from the beginning. I shut it off since it was showing me the results of the race and waited until after the live feed had ended. Now the show is gone from the on demand. I can see the F1 show from the previous day ( Sat ) but nothing else?

EDIT 2: It could also be that you might still be able to see or access your actual F1 race recording if it worked and it's just temp hidden from your view), using the ignite app or browser to access your recordings, if you only checked your tv recordings, or might need to sync things up somehow, but again, 57 is much better at dealing with stuff like this.

I can use multiple screens including my computer with two screens, my iPhone and iPad. There is also access to previous races in the season and earlier seasons. You can choose towatch the SKY broadcast or the F1 team broadcast and it is available in most ofthe major languages, i.e. English French, Italian, German, etc.

There was lots of chat, and helpful analysis from Collins on F1 TV, but neither aired a graphic comparing the amount of tyre compounds (Soft, Medium and Hard) each driver had left, which felt like a major oversight considering how much chatter there was on the subject.

Interesting to see how F1TV now use the same commentary team as Channel 4 and have become more closely aligned. Maybe thats a signal for the future that F1TV Pro may come to the UK in 2029 but right now the only thing keeping me from a Channel 4 switch is the Sprint Weekend coverage. If they were able to have a qualifying highlights show late on Friday then a sprint shootout and sprint highlights show on Saturday along with Grand Prix Highlights on a Sunday then I could happily switch over to Channel 4. From an on demand/VOD perspective Channel 4 beat Sky Go and Now hands down in terms of quicker availability and streaming quality.

Holmes says F1 must be flexible in its approach. In some markets, such as Brazil and Mexico, F1 partners with telecoms companies and broadcasters, making them vital distributors of F1 TV, in addition to Apple and Android, where F1 sells the app subscription. In some cases, F1 and traditional broadcasters or networks also share revenues from distributing F1 TV Pro.

Both tiers include exclusive documentaries and over 650 historic races from the Formula One archives. However, to get access to the races as they happen with F1 TV Pro, a subscription will set you back US$79 annually. Additional perks include the ability to add up to five screens and an enhanced viewing experienced fuelled by data insights, driver onboards and exclusive reporting.

A VideoPass subscription will get you live or on-demand viewing of every session, plus access to a comprehensive content library going back as far as 1992. The platform lays claim to more than 45,000 videos, including full races, interviews, summaries, reports and documentaries.

Although officially launched in 2014, the WRC+ era truly started in 2018. For the first few years of its existence, only select stages were available on the OTT platform. Then, with the launch of WRC All Live, the service was expanded to offer fans a livestream of every stage from every rally for the first time.

Users can create a free account, which allows them to customise their feed and access unlimited standard content with advertisements, including highlights, interviews and reviews from a number of series.

Practice and qualifying sessions are available worldwide outside the US and Latin America, although coverage of live races is restricted to markets where the US open-wheel racing series is without an existing media rights agreement.
