APE Check Tool Problems...

Hello all, i have my APE Server started up and running as root... I am running the check tool, but it fails on Connecting to APE server saying that it can't login.  Here's the output using Firebug:

I just tested your link again and it does seems to work now.

All test done. Now you can play with your APE \o/

maybe this will help someone someday - but i updated my scripts/main.ape.js and removed include("framework/http_auth.js"); from the config and restarted the APE Server - now i'm all good.

You have version 1.1.2 build from source? Or 1.1.3-DEV from GitHub?

TL,DR; comment out the framework/http_auth.js include line in
main.ape.js, and it works.

This is probably caused by including the 'framework/http_auth.js' in
your main.ape.js.
If you include this, the parameters that the CONNECT cmd send, will be
forwarded to "http://127.0.0.1/index.php" as post.
The idea is that you can use such a thing as a proxy for
authentication, but I guess that it is better placed in the
scripts/examples folder then the scripts/framework folder

So to give you more background info - i updated main.ape.js myself and included it, before the wiki was back up - i was just trying everything - so basically i caused my own problem.  But thanks so much for the help - i am looking forward to implementing this very soon.

So I have another question...  First let me tell you what I want to do.  I want to be able to have the web users be able to join a certain channel, if the channel don't exist I assume a mkchannel even will be fired and I want to start a set interval that will push out data to my client... However this don't work...

Why are you using window? Is that event defined? To make a global variable just define it outside the the callback function or assign it without var.

So the channel maybe different each time, I need to call a hash var to hold my created name for the setInterval.  Is this right?
