How to get rid of the disconnection problem in Shoutbox demo?

Hi, I have successfully tested Shoutbox demo. I can open up multi-tabs and send msgs around those tabs.
However, the newly opened demo page get disconnected from the APE server after about 1mins. Once it's disconnected i can not get the new msgs send and even displayerd.
Question: If the disconnection is caused by connection timeout, is there any function to set the APE client or APE server defaultly has none connection timeout?
If the disconnection is caused by bad network, is there any function to let the APE client try reconnection to the server?
