There will be NO Sunday School this week 11/20. We having a combined service to celebrate our stewardship campaign at 10:30am followed by a Potluck in Pickell Hall! Join us!

Upcoming Events

• HS Fall Retreat – 12/2-4, $125 + $20 for paintball, This retreat is always a highlight of the year don’t miss it! Waiver needed if you're playing Paintball. LEADERS ARE NEEDED!
• HS @ the Capital Area Food Bank - 12/10, 7:45am-2pm. Bring $10 for lunch. Join us as we head to the Capital area food bank where we will be sorting food and preparing meals for those in need. LEADERS ARE NEEDED!
• Family Christmas Party - 12/11, 6:30-8:30pm. Bring your whole family as we will share in laughter, fun, games and merriment… that’s right a whole big load of merriment. Bring a Christmas dessert to share, Sign up by 12/10.
• Actors Needed for Live Nativity! 12/24. We need actors to play Mary, Joseph, Wiseman, King Herod, Shepherds, and Angels. If you are interested, please contact Brenda Shapbell at bsha...@ashburnpresbyterian.org.

Volunteer needs as I mentioned in my last email we have some upcoming volunteer needs. If you are available to help with any of these needs we will certainly be able to train you and help you feel comfortable in the new role. Let me know if you are interested or if you have any questions!

• December 2-4 - Male and Female Leaders needed

• MS Youth Group Sunday Nights
• November 13th, November 20th & December 4th - Substitute leaders needed but could use additional long term Leaders

• HS Youth Group Wednesday Nights
• Additional Male and Female Leaders needed long term 

Mark Your Calendars!

• Confirmation Class - We are making some changes to our Confirmation class this year by moving it to Wednesday Afternoons from 4:30-6:00pm with our Wednesday Night Connect dinners to follow. We think that this will be a better time for our students, however it will mean that we will have a greater need for parents to help as teachers and to drive other students whose parents might not be able to make it. Our 2012 class will be starting on Jan. 25th. 
• Summer Trips - We will be formally announcing all of our 2012 summer trips at our Family Christmas Party on 12/11 including all the details but here are the dates!
• HS International Mission Trip to Belize - 6/24-30
• HS Domestic Mission Trip to Philadelphia - 7/15-21
• MS Camp Trip to Camp Ligonier - 7/8-12
