Volunteers Needed! - MS Superbowl Party! We need parent helpers for this one time commitment. We need help with set up/Clean up/decorations, making sure food is out  and plentiful, and yes even leaders to sit and watch the game with students! If you have a couple hours  on Superbowl Sunday to help make this a great event for our students let me know! 

Confirmation Class - Wednesday Afternoons from 4:30-6pm

• We are excited about this years Confirmation Class which will be on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-6pm. This will coincide with our Wednesday Night Connect program and the community dinner that we will have each week. Our hope is that the time change will allow more of our students to participate and will hopefully help our Confirmation students to "connect" with the larger church body. Confirmation is open to any student who are in 7th grade or older and who are interested in exploring wether to make a profession of faith and join the church in membership. 
• Information Meeting with Parents - Jan. 25 at 7pm
• First Confirmation Class - Feb. 1
• No Confirmation Class over Spring Break - Apr. 4
• Confirmation Dinner with Session - THURSDAY 4/26
• Students Received into Membership/Youth Sunday - Apr. 29th

Upcoming Events - 

• MS Superbowl and Just Dance! Party - 2/5, At the Church, 6pm till the game is over. Bring an app to share. We will be hanging out watching the Superbowl playing some games and having a Just Dance! competition. Bring your friends! Xbox and Kinect systems needed. Leaders Needed!  
• HS Skiing/Snowboarding at Liberty Mountain -2/11, 8am-9pm, Waiver needed. ~$30 for Lunch. Join us as we hit the slopes at the best mountain in our area! Skiing and Lodge-sitting leaders are needed! 
• $109-All Mountain package (Rental, Lesson, Lift ticket)
• $87-Learn to Ski package (Rental, Lesson, Lift ticket for beginner slopes) 
• $63- for a Lift ticket if you already own your equipment.
• MS Tubing at Liberty Mountain -2/20(President’s Day), 8am-3pm, $30, Waiver Needed! Every year this is a MS favorite! Snow tubing is awesome as you are zooming down a giant hill and carried back to the top by a conveyor belt. No experience needed! Spots are limited. Leaders needed!
• MS Mission Retreat to DC - 3/9-11, Cost $100. We will be heading down to DC to serve those in need along with Teens Opposing Poverty. More details to come! Leaders Needed!
• HS College Road Trip - 3/31-4/4, ~$100-200. This trip will be part college visits and part class on how to make the transition to college a great one! The plan is to visit a number of different colleges in VA, MD and PA of different types to allow students to get a feel for the different options out there but our exact plans will depend in part on who is going. Sign up early! Parents are needed and encouraged to attend!
