Exciting Baby News! Help Needed!

Hey All, Ryan and I are excited to let you all know that we may soon have a new addition to our family! 

As most of you know Ryan and I have been seeking to adopt a child and just a couple weeks ago we were chosen by a birth mother from central Virginia!  We are simply ecstatic that we were chosen and truly feel blessed at the ways that we have seen God working through our situation. We are heading to the hospital now and praying that everything goes as planned! As with any adoption there are still things that could disrupt this process and nothing will be finalized for a while but things are looking good! We are excited about being able to share this exciting time with our lives and look forward to you all being a part of our son's life. We have been busy getting the house and the nursery ready and preparing for Ryan to take Maternity leave from her work and making plans for me to take some time off as well to spend time with the family! This is where we will need some help from you all. We have a number of events coming up in the next couple weeks along with all of our regular programs and we could use your help filling in for the things that I will miss and additional help once I return as Ryan will be staying home with our new son.

Sooo, Funny Story… Tonight was a false alarm. 

However, the plan is still in place and we are still looking forward to welcoming our new addition in the next week or two. We were planning on announcing everything tonight anyway, so this just added a bit more drama and suspense to the announcement! Thank you all for the prayers and we look forward to sharing news of the actual birth with you all soon!
