Hey,
first of all, congrats on making the linux work on APC.
Had only a 2GB microSD so went for R4 version which successfully booted on my APC 8750 (ApricotR4-XFCE4-2G-SDCARD). However, the ethernet interface hasn't been recognized, which leads to only lo visible on ifconfig. Same with wifi module (I chose the one with chipset that the android recognizes) but also no luck.
Am i doing something wrong, or i should go with R5 ?

Regards,
Wojciech

Hi,

I don't know what could cause this. The only thing that I'm sure is that you should not have the same issue with R3 or R5.
R5 is old now. Maybe the latest kernel should be fine.

good luck.

Hi,
i went with R4 but LXDE instead of XFCE and problem is solved.
Should i upgrade to R5 with MATE - just "burn" it on my bigger microSD card with Win32imager or I should stick with R4 LXDE SD card ?

I would prefer to have it on NAND memory if possible.

Regards!
