It is precisely for these reasons open source software need to be built which would be cost effective for the entire society.
In India, open source code software will have to come and stay in a big way for the benefit of our billion people."

1) Power BI + Excel VBA background. Preferred from Chemical Engineering background. Additionally the resource should have an exposure to databases and BI tools. 2) Data Analyst + Tableau requirement a. Having 2-3 yrs experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Dundas, SEEQ. b. Experience with ML/AI ( Keywords : c. Experience with Database handling like MySQL, MS-SQL, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL d. Experience with Python or R e. Create a page that takes an input video & the auto-generated audio and merges them to create a spoken tutorial. 1. Create a basic form that takes input video and input audio from the user. 2. Create a button MERGE that uses these 2 multimedia files and merges them into a single spoken tutorial.The MERGE button should usea. ffmpeg to strip the orginial video of its audiob. ffmpeg to use the new audio and merge it with the videoc. ffmpeg to compress the resultant file and create a low filesize spoken tutorial 3. Create a button PREVIEW to view the new spoken tutorial.The PREVIEW button should open a player with VCR Controls with the new tutorial preloaded in the preview area Technologies to be used: Python, Django.

In my college, one of the students in BTech 3rd year 1st sem was having a makeup exam and and he was looking for guidance in learning Java. We gave the spoken-tutorial CD material on Java, and gave explanation on the contents of the CD. After the exam he came and told that the spoken tutorial CD on java helped him a lot and that he developed confidence in Java by going thru all the tutorials and doing the assignments. He also told that the video tutorials cleared most of his doubts on java and helped him in passing the makeup exam.

We, VIDYA Computer Learning & Resource Center (CLRC), have partnered with Spoken Tutorial since 2 years now. Most of the VIDYA's trainers have learnt GIMP & Inkscape. Inkscape is extremely useful to us and we have become very proficient in poster-making and creating colourful awareness & class decor posters.CLRC students find the industry recognized certificate very useful. Our school partnership school teachers also get trained in creating posters using Inkscape during summer vacation. This year, we integrated GIMP & Inkscape in our "Beyond School Computer Curriculum" for 6th & 7th std respectively.Thank you Prof. Kannan & Nancy for introducing us to such a wonderful self-learning platform. We are still exploring & will most likely use the platform to its fullest potential for VIDYA's beneficiaries.

Spoken Tutorials opened the big door of open source tools and software learning in our Institution. Our students are now comfortable with Linux OS. They have benefited from tutorials for Java, C/C++, Shell Programming etc to a great extent. They are confident to use LaTeX, the defacto standard for technical documentation for reporting their Projects Works.We have conducted a Workshop on Social Media Awareness for elderly people. During this program they learned about a basics of using a Personal Computer in their native language using a spoken tutorial in the Digital Divide track.Another effort based on spoken tutorial platform is the execution of FOSSE Workshop Series in different tracks meant for Plus1/Plus2 students. This workshop was also well appreciated by the students from different schools.I have been involved with the spoken tutorial project since 2012 in multiple roles such as a participant, organizer, external contributor, reviewer etc. I have enjoyed the wholehearted support and encouragement from the entire spoken tutorial team in all these roles.I am really proud to a part of the Spoken Tutorial Project in a variety of roles in bridging the digital divide there by making India IT literate
...Today I have used 4 tutorials and side by side presentation. One side we are getting the video and audio and on the other side we can work that is a very good experience and it is a very good initiative by IIT Bombay....
....I think overall it was nice mam, I dont think is there any changes because installation of ubuntu and koha software, there is time sufficient for me. I think more days are not required as per my opinion. 1 day is enough for this because few peoples are coming from long, I think they might thinking 2 days may be sufficient for them but for us it is ok......
