Workshop Description

Our region’s wild birds, bluebirds included, need all the help they can get finding habitat. Professor Sieving will present her research about birds’ role in pest control, and Florida Bluebird Society President Pennewill will be doing hands-on construction of bluebird boxes. Learn the benefits of having bluebirds in your garden, including:
-Using birds generally in consumption of pest insects
-Designing your yard, garden, or farm to be more bird-friendly
-Bluebird ecology
-Best placement of bluebird houses on your site
-Bluebird house construction
