Sunday, Sept. 4: Lake Lafayette Park
For those few of us remaining in Tallahassee on a holiday weekend, here is a rather low impact trip. Meet at 8 a.m. in the parking lot at Lake Lafayette in Piney Z Plantation. If time permits, we may visit a few other nearby bird friendly spots.
Friday, Sept. 23: Big Bend WMA Bird/Butterfly Trip
The first half of this trip will be birding and the second half discovery of butterflies led by Brian Lloyd. This is your chance to see if the insect world is of interest. Meet at 7:30 a.m. at the Publix parking lot at the intersection of Cap. Cir. SW and Crawfordville Highway. We will be carpooling, so please indicate if you are a willing driver.
