I decided to take AP Psychology because I am extremely intrigued by others' behaviors and by the human mind itself.

My initial impressions of psychology was that I would be studying how humans are influenced in their society and the factors

that influence them. My impressions evolved with the summer reading when I realized  psychology will allow me to study

beyond that. From the prologue, for example, I learned psychology includes looking at behaviors through different perspectives.

Chapter two taught me how the brain processes and responds to information as well as how mental disorders affect actions.

One of my goalsin taking this class is to gain a better sense of understanding of myself and how I perceive my world. Having a background of

psychology will be beneficial in my field of business as I will be constantly interacting with others and I will be able to understand the reasoning behind one's decisions. I am looking forward to what lies ahead the rest of the year.
