Main Point: "The most significant change involves access to in vitro fertilization — though the Veterans Affairs Department now offers some fertility services, like counseling, testing and a form of artificial insemination, it does not allow IVF, which can cost patients many thousands of dollars from private providers. The bill would put the V.A. on par with the Defense Department, which provides IVF and other fertility services to active-duty service members who are severely wounded in combat."
Main Point: This new law would provide IVF and other fertility services to active members of the service who have been wounded.
I agree that this new law should be passed because these active-duty service members are putting there life on the line for our country and they have been wounded doing so. Passing this new law helps these service members to have families of there own. The V.A. have had to adjust many other health issues involving the military and our active-duty service members so it makes sense for them to adjust this issue to help these men and women in the service have a family just like everyone else.
